In a statement, the agency explained it is alarmed with regards to the high variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area regularly. The company point created for read more intervention experiences a high inflow of potential beneficiaries, which sassa makes it tough for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to permit the servicing of all consumers and improve usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
